Quote - February 26, 2014

A new original quote that I wrote a while ago and wanted to document before I forgot

"Pure joy writhes through my veins, /
A happiness which cannot be compared, /
as if the gods have infused my limbs with...

Shoot last word is illegible, when it comes back to me I will edit this post with the correct word

I was considering putting this in a poem at the time so pardon the weird formatting and slashes

Have a good day everyone, don't forget to smile

Activity - Making use of Personal Qualities - February 24, 2014

I tend to think of step 2,3, or 4 before step 1, so when I write posts on here I drag them out a lot because I'm not used to thinking of all the steps and putting them down. But I am gonna try to work on making myself a bit more concise, especially on here because it makes it faster to grasp and makes it feel a little more light and exciting. And I need to learn how to put in conclusions while writing haha . Think about something you know is just a habit that might be making things harder for you and try to turning it into something you can use when it's necessary.

Special - How I See the World : An Attempt of Describing it - February 17, 2014

The world is a big beautiful place, I enjoy the way I see the world. I'm not saying it's the right path, but it is inspiring to me. It makes everything unique and bright and pure. But it also allows for the evils of the world, yet makes it understandable and brings clarity to the subjects. There is no such thing as perfection because for perfection one must have perfect balance of all things, including imperfection so therefore there is no perfection, but there can be harmony. I'm not saying it in a spiritual way, though you may think of it like that if you like, I'm suggesting a deep inner look to see the best qualities of things, people, and the planet as a whole. The experience of life includes many inputs to make an event happen. Like a tree of inspiration, one thing leads to another, then to another, but those things, following the mindset that anything can be forgiven, are neutral

So by that logic, none of these things can be blamed for the evils in the world, it just usually gets put on the object with the most amount of inputs at the time. It is understandable to put blame on that object or point in time so it can be forgiven that blame is centered on something. I do however believe it is uncomfortable to live with putting blame on something else, and for that reason I tried to make a model of the world that incorporates evil into a pure world of beauty. I appreciate all the things the world has to offer.

If certain events didn't take place to make certain things occur, we may not have had a planet, then we may not have people, no me. So I learned to appreciate the world and now it looks beautiful and exciting, but there is still room for danger and risk, and that's special to me . Everyone will come up with a view, whether they know it or not, not even if they follow it or not, and each of those views are individual and special, just like us so take pride in that fact, that you are special and that the whole world is made of individual special things and people waiting to fill it with life .

Activity - Good Things from Bad - February 11, 2014

Try to think of at least one good thing for every situation that you go through. By doing this you see a slightly brighter image than you would before, and it helps you see the good things faster. Eventually you will be able to see many more good things and situations that used to look bad will look much brighter. That's not to say that bad things aren't bad, they are most definitely bad. But there is always something good to see, even if it's not directly related to the situation, it can still make you feel a lot better. So give it a try! Think of at least one good thing for each situation throughout the day.

Advice - Goals - February 1, 2014

Everyone wants something different, but in the end, something that will be good for them. Everyone has different ideas on what those things are and what lengths they should go to, to get them. It's this knowledge which allows us to understand that not everyone has the same idea in mind, or may not go to the same distances for those things to happen. But that doesn't mean that any specific path is wrong, it just means that if more than one person goes for something, each person will have different ways of getting there and each person will have their own limits for each goal.

Activity - Washing That Window - January 13, 2014

Let's say the human mind is an empty space when we are born. We start getting information and it starts building up in our head. What if the information is placed on the edge, and over time it creates a window. Through this window we start to see the world. As new information comes in, we shade in old windows and put up new ones. Eventually we will have created our own little place called our view. It's different than everyone else's because each mind put the information on the window in a different way.

As an exercise each day we should try to imagine ourselves cleaning one of these windows for 30 minutes in our heads and try to see the world a little differently than you normally would. It'll keep your mind open to new ideas, make things interesting, and you can get a clearer view of things. Over time if you find it beneficial or fun, try extending the time each day, until every day is a completely new experience. Just don't forget who you want to be.

Of course, it's your mind, do what you want

Advice - Forgiveness - December 26, 2013

Anyone and Anything can be forgiven and saved. Don't leave yet, I know it sounds crazy, just hear me out, maybe you'll think the same, maybe not but let's see . Everyone has different lives, different experiences, but in the end everyone wants to better themselves, they want to survive and be the best they can be. In some shape or form this shows in their live, sometimes in good ways and sometimes in bad ways. Giving to charity, it warms the soul and publicly shows you have a good heart. Being power hungry though, it isn't the same, going after power.. but it is part of the human characteristic of wanting to survive and be the best you can be, because to some people that is what they call achievement, they had different experiences which led them to think that, it could be right and it could be wrong, but it's not something you can blame them, their conscious self, for.

What is Consciousness? Humans and other animals have emotions and the ability to make decisions based on what would be the best choice. The brain has been related to a computer, a computer which can take in inputs and choose the best output for the situation, though on a much more complex level. There is a difference though. But humans and animals make decisions which may not fit any criteria for being correct yet we choose to do them, even if it goes against our survival. Now this is in NO WAY a pass to do whatever you want, but an example of how humans and animals have a factor of unpredictability. That part, the unpredictability I believe to be conscious, it is what sets us apart form computers and every other model. It is the X-factor which explains the rest of the phenomena of human and animal behavior. Scientifically so far I don't think there is an explanation for that unpredictability, so it seems fitting to place that as consciousness.

Anyone can be forgiven, no matter what it is. It doesn't mean that you need to be happy about what they did or that you agreed with it, it just means that you have forgiven them. In many cases, people make mistakes, mistakes are the most common thing to make. If the person making a mistake considers it a mistake it means they don't think they should do it again and that it was bad. In turn you shouldn't blame them for what they did because knowing they made that mistake and wanting to fix it are reasons enough for them to be a good person. That consciousness, is a complex system but it takes in so much strain and it does its best to make the right decisions and sometimes messes up, it can't make the absolute right decisions all the time because that part isn't controlled by statistics, because if it was it couldn't account for the unpredictability of others and make the right decisions. And sometimes people don't realize they made a mistake and they don't want to fix it, it is just how they see things, and they can't help themselves for that, you can try to "change" that or "save" that but it is technically there is no directly right or wrong way, only the way which brings you the most happiness. I already talked about what way is the right path so I won't talk about that (for more information about that I strongly encourage you to check out the post).

Anyone can be saved, nothing is impossible if you put your mind to it, you just have to be able to keep forgiving and keep wanting to help after everything that happens no matter what, it will hurt and it would be extremely difficult and it may not happen but it is possible.

Why do these things? Why would you go through the pain of forgiving them? Because hatred is a plague to the soul. It can prejudice you and make you blind, it can cloud up your path to happiness. If you get rid of hatred then you can make room for all the good things and all the happiness which you deserve.

If you feel bad about yourself, forgive yourself, it may be the hardest thing in the world, but you can never improve if you don't forgive yourself.

(Disclaimer) Again I want to make clear that bad actions are still bad and there is no reason to think that bad actions (whatever your definition may be) are good. Forgiving doesn't make it right, it just shows the kindness of humanity and the happiness which is possible.

I hope I covered everything well  Be happy and safe and live life happily .

Advice - Thanksgiving Special - November 28, 2013

If you take the time to think about all the things that you are thankful for, even the things that you might take for granted, it will brighten the path to your happiness.

Advice - Finding Answers - November 3, 2013

This post will require information from my last post which is about tunnels so if you haven't read that please read the necessary post.

It can take a long to
time to find the answers you want.

When you are searching for answers you may not be able to find them on your own or when you want them. So let time take its course and be patient.

If you are in a tunnel and trying to find answers you may try to break through the side and find knowledge. Well the tunnel may be too thick to break through. So you need to wait until the answer appears or the wall is thin enough to shatter. But you may also have to wait for the answer to appear, the shining light of knowledge.

But there is an answer and a reason for everything, it may be hidden or disguised in another form but it is there.

There is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Advice - A Light at the End of the Tunnel - November 3, 2013

Ok so I hope we can agree that life is a path because it take us places, so if we encounter a dark spot it must be a tunnel because if it were a cave it wouldn't be a path and therefore not life. So dark places on the path are tunnels and never caves.

Now we can think of that well known quote:

"There is a light at the end of the tunnel"

Some argue there isn't one but I'd like to point something out.

In tunnels there are twists and bends and they can be indeterminably long, so we may not be able to see the light on the other side. Some say 'well who cares if you can't see it, it still isn't there!' Well actually think about a tunnel. Tunnels always lead to something new, otherwise it wouldn't be a tunnel.

So if tunnels are the only dark thing on our path and we use them to classify any dark spot like we have already established, that leaves any other spot to be brighter than the tunnel, meaning there is definitely light at the end of a tunnel.

And for people who think that their life is all tunnels and it will never be anything else consider this. Can a path start and end in a tunnel without some connection to the outside? No, because that tunnel wouldn't be able to connect to any paths so that means at some point there has to be another part to the path so that means that life cannot be all tunnels and that there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Advice - Morals - October 22, 2013

When we are young we learn a bunch of morals and things that will help guide us through life. When you are too young to understand them, the teacher of those lessons is just asking you to be patient with them and to obey until you can think about the lesson yourself.

When you start to question the point of making us obedient, to trust that what is being said is true, think to yourself this..

If it wasn't important and people thought it was pointless why would someone use it to guide their life?

This question will get you thinking why that is, make you understand and connect that we are taught these lessons for a reason, and that will allow you to trust the system.

This doesn't just apply to morals, you can apply this to all kinds of things school, social life, even government. If you take the time to see why things are the way they are, then you can live a more successful and happy life or at least help you find what you want to follow. When searching for these answers don't reject things, try to keep your mind open.

But these things take time so don't expect your brain to think of an answer immediately, and if it does, test the answer and make sure it covers everything. Even if the answer tries to slip away when you are thinking about it, you should hold it down and keep thinking about until your answer is clear. Once it is clear your mind will be able to accept it, and you can use that knowledge to help you find more answers.

Advice - October 16, 2013

If you crack the shell of knowledge the results won't end well, but if you slowly wait and drain the shell you will gain a much better understanding.

Advice - The Meaning of Life - October 8, 2013

This is Life Advice and quotes, so it only makes sense that I convey, at least the philosophy I have, on what the meaning of life is.

People have many different views on this so still keep an open mind.

The purpose of life is for you to be happy. If you feel guilty if you impede on other peoples happiness then you should try to make other people happy as well. If you don't feel guilt about things like that then alright then, but people will be unhappy about what you have done and you should know that if you choose to ignore others' feelings in the process of your happiness.

It is hard to put the way I see the meaning of life in words, so don't get crazy if I change this later.

If this isn't the way you see life then that's fine, I do not want to force a way of living onto people; I will continue to reference this though throughout my posts so if you absolutely won't put up with this, just a heads up to you in the future

That being said, the things I will post will not always be related to this.

Advice - October 7, 2013

True friends will never leave you.

Advice - October 5, 2013

Stuff takes time like homework, video games or problems, but all can be completed with patience and balance of time.

Advice - October 3, 2013

You can have the knowledge and understanding why something needs to be, you can connect it to knowing it's a good idea, but if you don't connect it to yourself it won't help at all on the inside.

That's why people sometimes don't actually use advice they're given because they can't stand to think through how it will help without bringing up the problem.

But if you do think it through it will make you much better.

First Quote for "Life Advice and Quotes"

Hey everybody! Just wanted to get started by posting the first quote: "Life is like an apple, there may be bruises or worms, but your taste buds decide the flavor." -Harry Kiffel
